Finding out is cheaper than either: the pitch is free, and the scan is US$29 and comes back to you. If what you need is a website rather than an app, that starts at US$79 once.
The questions people actually ask.
Is the price really fixed?
Yes. The scope and the price are agreed in writing before any work starts. If the job turns out to be bigger than we scoped, that is our problem, not a change order.
What does "it works, or you don't pay" actually mean?
If we cannot deliver it working as pitched, you are refunded in full. You claim by email within thirty days of delivery and we cover the cost of making the claim. It is a warranty against defects that sits in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law — it does not replace them. Full wording in the Terms, clause 10.7–10.8.
Do I own it?
All of it — the code, the accounts and the revenue. There is no monthly software fee holding your app hostage, and no revenue share, ever.
Why is the scan US$29 and not free?
Because a real scan costs us real money to run, and free scans attract people who were never going to fix anything. It comes back to you the moment you commit to a fix, so if you go ahead it has cost you nothing.
Can I get a build without the pitch?
You can, but the pitch is free and it is where we tell you if the idea has a problem. Skipping it mostly costs you the chance to hear "don't build this" before you have paid for it.
